Position : BI Business Analyst
Location : San Francisco,CA

Role summary:
BI Business Analyst role will be part of our rapidly growing Digital Channel BI practice and will drive and own gathering, analysis and documentation of business & functional requirements in large programs.
The role is expected to influence and guide business with best practices and structured analysis approach.
Job Duties
ü By assessing the impact on the business both technically and operationally with regards to BI systems, you will have responsibility for recommending actions that will overcome business problems to increase efficiencies and effectiveness for the overall organization.
ü You will participate/lead on strategy & consulting assignments on defining requirements.
ü You will also advise "to-be" business processes and overall process architecture. You will work with technical architects to define solution landscape for BI projects.
ü Create documentation for project status reports, timelines, project issues and risks, change requests, requirements, testing plans and test cases as needed for projects assigned.
ü Provide Business Intelligence Applications Manager with regular and timely status reports and benchmarking metrics of projects, issues, system implementations and upgrades.
ü Document processes and standards and regularly provide documentation to Business Intelligence team.
Requirements
ü 6 years of Business Analysis experience with an end-to-end implementation experience
ü Financial Services experience
ü SQL writing skills to complete Ad-hoc reporting
ü Experience in dealing with multiple business units, technical personnel, and diverse employee population
ü Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
ü Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
ü Ability to balance multiple efforts and complete deliverables on time
ü Understanding of KPls/dashboards and ability to collect Analytics requirements
ü Experience of working in Data Warehousing projects
ü Understanding/experience of business benefits definition, tracking and measurement
ü Experience working with BI products including Tableau, Site Catalyst
ü Excellent communication skills with ability to influence and guide business and management stakeholders
ü Expert in facilitating workshops with Business owners to draw business processes and requirements and provide 1st level design recommendations for solutions.
