| Duties & Responsibilites : | • Serve as the lead resource responsible for the overall design and development of applications and systems while providing leadership and direction to the development teams • Serve as the subject matter expert in all phases of design and development and mentor team members as needed • Create/modify Datacap applications from written specifications, input from scan centers, end users and Imaging team analysts to create custumized applications, or by converting existing legacy code to meet customer needs • Lead and coordinate development activities and be the anchor of technical expertise with onshore and offshore technical teams • Lead status meetings with the development and management teams • Communicate to the client and internal teams the architecture and/or solution of a particular project. • Manage the team's progress against deliverables and milestones and revise them as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. • Support the Software Engineers with coding when required with analysis, design, providing technical solutions, coding, testing, QA support, and implementation. • Install and configure Datacap servers and other associated client components • Troubleshoot and fix functional and performance issues • Implement engineering excellence by enforcing regular code reviews, continuous integration, high test code coverage, on-going code refactoring and adequate documentation while ensuring correct usage of industry standard software and frameworks • Be on call to support production releases Mandatory Skills: • Expertise with .NET and related experience • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Experience leading teams in an onshore/offshore development model Desired Skills: • Expertise with one or more ICR/OCR technologies (IBM Datacap, Kofax, etc) |
