Title: White box QA tester

Location: San Diego, CA

Duration: 9 months – 1yr

 

The Role

As a Quality Assurance Product Lead you will play a key role in Talent|REWARD (T|R) product development projects by ensuring the delivered product meets the organization's quality assurance standards. In this role you will direct all testing activities related to your product. Additionally, you will assist in establishing quality standards and processes and be a mentor to the other members of the quality assurance team.  

 

The individual in this role will have the opportunity to gain a large breadth of knowledge by working with experts in the fields of Talent and Rewards. Our Quality Assurance Product Leads feel empowered to make key testing decisions using their understanding and knowledge of the industry to deliver best in class solutions.

 

The Requirements

•6-8 years of testing experience with at least 3 years of experience in white box testing

•Strong C# and ASP.NET programming experience

•Experience with SQL server

•Experience with JavaScript, Ajax, JQuery, CSS, DHTML, XML a plus

•Knowledge of MVC architecture a plus

•Excellent communication skills

•Experience in web service testing

•Knowledge or experience with test driven development

•Define the scope of testing needed with focus on Middleware and automation and accountable for consistent of quality of testing artifacts and testing services

•Write, review, maintain, and run automated scripts written in C#

•Self-starter attitude and ability to work well with ambiguity

•Detail oriented, strong analytical thinker, capable of recommending key decisions based on solid knowledge of the industry
