We are looking for a IBM Mainframe Programmer Analyst to support world's leader in providing IT consulting and software services to the finest global organizations client.

This is a 6 Months Contract based in Southern California Region.

 

Role: IBM Mainframe Programmer Analyst
Location: Southern California Region

Duration: 6 Months Contract

 

IBM mainframe programmers with minimum 10 years of experience in mainframe technologies with automotive vehicle supply chain domain background.

 

Technology Skillset : Cobol, IMS DB/DC, DB2, JCL, CICS, MQ, VSAM, SAS, ChangeMan, File Aid utilities, Xpeditor, DFSORT, ICE tool.

 

Job Description:

 

Roles and Responsibilities :

 

·         Work with IT SME and Business users to gather business requirements for enhancements to existing applications or new applications

·         Perform requirement analysis, develop business requirements documents, and participate in reviews

·         Develop unit test plan, integration test plan and system test plan documents

·         Perform impact analysis activities

·         Estimate effort required for software design, development, testing and deployment activities

·         Perform application design, database design, coding and unit testing, integration testing, systems testing activities

·         Participate in User acceptance testing support activities

·         Participate in design review, code review and independent testing activities

·         Work in global delivery model to get the work done by offshore team members

·         Provide the requirements and knowledge transfer to offshore team members and get the work completed

·         Review the software design and code developed by offshore team

·         Resolve issues reported by offshore team members on time

·         Co-ordinate the integration and system testing activities with other interfacing groups

·         Participate in production support activities

·         Guide or oversee the work of other team members.

·         Should have good automotive vehicle supply chain knowledge
