Hadoop Tester
Job Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Responsibilities
• Understand the Hadoop eco-system and build reliable and scalable automated systems to run complex tests
• Should have 4+ years of testing experience with at least 2 years on Hadoop.
• Ability to deal with distributed systems
• Innovate and Automate and Break the Code
• Work with cross component teams and be an effective team player
Primary Skills
• Tremendous attention to details and ability to build reliable and scalable software systems
• Worked in an Agile development shop
• Experience with Cloud Computing and strong networking skills
• Experience with API testing using SoaPUI
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Prefer strong coding skills in Java/Python and comfortable with Linux environments
• Familiarity with large-scale distributed systems and/or data management systems
• Experience working with open source automation tools and familiarity with Git, Maven, Ant a plus
• Experience with Apache Hadoop and its related technologies a big plus
