Position Description: The Digital team is responsible for enhancing the desktop/mobile/tablet experiences for our current and prospective customers.

The Digital technology Team is looking for a top-notch senior development engineer.

We are building best in class Digital applications and API's.

 

As a Senior Development Engineer, you have mastered HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and have strong programming background in Java/J2EE or .Net. You have a passion for creating the best user experience possible. You have a deep understanding of the browser's DOM, and you understand the difference between the various browsers.

 

Responsibilities:

- Design and write code for web/mobile HTML5 AJAX applications that scale to high-volume production quality.

 

- Engineer a world-class platform with an eye towards rapid iteration and creative problem solving.

- Prototype creative solutions quickly, and be able to collaborate with others in crafting and implementing your technical vision.

- Contributeand collaborate in creation and consumption of open, standards-based solutions, while working with client's existing technologies and infrastructure.

- Identify opportunities for process and tool improvements and drive those from concept to implementation.

- R&D in emerging technologies.

 

Required skills:

Worked in Javascript MVC framework 2+ years experience in developing application for front end Strong expertise at - html5/css3/javascript/json Strong in at least one of the Javascript frameworks like Angular, backbone, knockout etc Strong on JQuery, NodeJS, AngularJS, extJS, SenchaTouch Framework, Promise, and other frameworks like (FlightJS, requireJS, wireJS , AngularJS) Solid understanding of multi-threaded software design. Solid understanding of the AJAX and Spring frameworks. Experience in working in Agile delivery mode Nice to have skills: Object oriented Javascript, Popular Design Patterns AMD Pattern, Module & Configuration(RequireJS, WireJS) Templates & Data Binding (Handlebars), Promise (whenJS) Aspect Oriented Programming & Intercept (MeldJS), Observables & Functional Programming (Bacon JS) Mocking & Unit Testing (MockJax & Jasmine)

 

Qualifications:

- 2+ years of web development experience, experience working on Windows and Java platforms

- 1+ years experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX and Spring frameworks.

- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
