Primary Skills: Business Analyst, Cognos, TM1, MS Visio, Strong exp with DB2, Strong Data Modeling exp

Job Description:

Minimum Qualifications:

· Experience in BA tools like MS Visio, Requirement Tracking etc.
· Strong Knowledge in SQL (MUST).
· Strong DB2 database skills (MUST).
· Strong Data Modeling skills (MUST).
· Experience with Cognos TM1 (MUST).
· Experience with DB2 LUW, MF DB2 and SQL Server databases (DESIRED).
· Experience in developing use cases, functional specs, design specs, ERDs etc.
· Knowledge of software development life cycles.
· Ability to document business and system processes, creating process diagrams and troubleshooting paths.
· Advanced problem solving capability in being able to get to root cause of the problem.
· Ability to multitask, handle ambiguity, as well as taking charge of tasks and leading them to completion while meeting required due dates.
· Concise writing skills, articulate speaking skills.
· Ability to estimate completion dates based on requirements.
· Rapid learning ability in learning new software and interfaces.
· Ability to assemble and present recommendations for review/approval.
· Facilitate meetings and document outcome.
· Performs above functions with little supervision.
