Position: DotNet Developer

Location : New York

Duration: 6Months +

 

Should have Investment Banking Domain Experience.

 

Must have experience with portfolio accounting concepts, general ledger and journaling, so solid business analyst and troubleshooting skills are a must. The ideal candidate has some experience with fixed income derivatives products, cash flows, valuations of derivatives products but not required.

Need to be a strong .Net developer to build and extend existing OMS interfaces with an instance of Sungard's VPM product. Requires a deep attention to detail, being well organized and focused. The dev team is run like a startup, employing the latest technologies, exciting projects and working collaboratively.

Required:

·         Excellent troubleshooting skills and analytical thought process

        Strong .Net development skills

        Some experience with Portfolio Accounting systems like VPM, Geneva or comparable

        Affinity for transactional data and reconciliation processes

        Ability to dig into exception events and tease out root cause

        Strong SQL

        High energy, excitement

 

Plus:

        Scripting (Perl, Python, or other)

        Strong Excel

        Some Java
