Position - BI Data Architect
Location - Southfield MI
Duration - 1 Year Contract plus Extensions
One of our large automotive data clients in the Southfield, MI area is looking for a Data Architect for a large enterprise data warehouse project. Our client has two major offices in Germany where they have compiled 50-70 countries worth of European vehicle data. This data architect is needed for the creation of an entire new data warehouse (on an enterprise level) from two legacy systems. This has been done in both the United States and Canada, so there is already a template created. This architect must have strong legacy knowledge and have the ability to listen to the business requirements and craft the design of the entire project. The candidate MUST be a strong data modeler in order to support various reporting and analytics applications. It is recommended that this candidate has strong SQL data analysis, data extraction and query writing skills.
Need:
- 10+ years of Data Architecture experience
- Act as an SME in Business Intelligence
- Real world experience creating an enterprise data warehouse
- Managed large databases/data warehouses
- Familiarity with indexes, materialized views, statistics, compression, partitioning, etc.
- Strong data modeling experience
- Strong legacy knowledge
- Experience designing and building ETL specifications
- Strong oracle experience and knowledge

- Strong SQL Skills
- Data extraction
- Sql queries
- Data analysis
