We have requirement with our direct client for a Data Analyst – Data Modeler

Contract Position: Data Analyst – Data Modeler

Location: Olympia

Duration: 4+ months

 

Skills / Experience Required

 

Develop business requirements

·         Review document Workflow support -routing of documents, auto-generated reminders (based on timelines or conditions in the application), document generation;

·         Use of standard map control to identify spatial fields that auto-populates the database and allows input of point or polygon data and attributes;

·         Tracking of each databases on a project by project basis;

·         Identify current requirements for an enhanced database;

·         Prepare detailed Requirement Document and Use Cases;

·         Based on the business requirements, determine should databases be integrated in a single database or in a separate database.

·         Create a Dataflow diagram and Data Model (Entity-relationship diagram) that details the specific components and their relationships including connections to other databases

·         Identify business rules

·         Analyze and recommend reporting component that meets the needs of both internal users and partners;

·         Web services to other applications

·         Ad hoc query tool, including queries to other databases through web services

·         Excellent project management skills

·         Experience with environmental databases;

·         Proven success in requirements gathering and analysis, documentation preparation of requirements and database design.

·         Experience with data integration projects.

·         Prior professional experience designing or managing workflow components in databases.

·         SSRS

·         SSIS

·         Web services

·         UML

·         Excellent communication skills
