This is our direct-client opening for a Cognos Developer located in Woodinville, WA. This is a 60 day contract OR contract-to-hire position and our client is only looking for local candidates to the Seattle, WA area.
Our client is upgrading from Cognos 10.1 to Cognos 10.2 and needs a Cognos Developer contractor to help
Responsibilities:
Work with SMWE Business Analysts and IT personnel (DBA and .Net programmer) to troubleshoot Cognos 10 reporting
Integrate Cognos 10 reports with MS Office applications; convert existing reports; automate where practical
Work with IT to create MSO report distribution via subscription services (tools TBD)
Automate production of MS PowerPoint presentations
Troubleshoot MS PowerPivot application; migrate to Enterprise reporting
Migrate Office applications to Enterprise Reporting (Cognos 10.2 or MS Reporting services)
Experience:
Must have experience with complex data schemas and SQL; solid understanding of stored procedure design
Mixed SQL 2008 R2 environment migrating to SQL 2012
Cognos 10.1 / 10.2 Experience
