List of skills/abilities (requirements) needed.
Strong experience in designing, implementing and maintaining software test automation frameworks/solutions
Proven skills in developing, documenting and implementing automation testing standards and guidelines
Strong expertise in building complex automated test scripts using HP Quick Test Pro
Strong expertise in developing performance test plans, creating and maintaining test scenarios/scripts for performance, load and stress testing using LoadRunner
Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle processes and development methodologies
Strong experience in application development using programming languages such as Java or C#
In depth knowledge of the QA testing principles and strategies
Strong experience in manual testing, developing test plans and writing test cases
Strong experience in working with relational databases and backend testing using complex SQL queries
Strong hands on experience with test management tool, HP ALM/Quality Center
Experience in logging and tracking defects using IBM Rational ClearQuest
Experience in working with version control systems such as SVN, VSS or TFS
Ability to work independently as well as in a team, work closely with business, testing and development teams
Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting, communication and interpersonal skills
Exceptional time management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines
