Location: Jersey City, NJ (Telephonic Then Face To Face)
Duration: 6+ Month

• Must have extensive experience as Production support SQL Server Database Administrator
• Must have experience with high availability (MS Cluster Service) - SQL 2005, 2008, 2008 R2, SQL 2012 and AlwaysOn experience with SQL 2012 is a plus
• Must exhibit very in-depth expertise in solving database contention problems (dead locks, blocking etc.)
• Demonstrate extensive expertise in performance tuning including both query and server optimization
• Understanding of multi-tier architectures from a conceptual level and support bank critical application.
• Must have Hands on experience with Transactional Replication (multiple subscribers)
• Must have experience with monitoring and analyzing SQL Server production metrics
• Must have strong communications skills with the ability to clearly articulate and substantiate recommendations to the application team
• Must have extensive experience with Log Shipping, Database Snapshots
• Must have extensive experience Monitoring and analyzing SQL Server production metrics (DMV's, Performance Warehouse)
• Must have experience in educating app team in adapting to new enhancements in SQL Server 2008, 2008 R2, SQL 2012.

SQL Server Versions: SQL 2008, SQL 2008 R2, SQL 2012
OS Version: Windows 2008 and above
