Sr. QA Testing Analyst- SOA

Location : Chicago, IL

Duration : Long Term

SOA QA Analyst will work with QA manager and project team to define the individual project testing plans and will coordinate the work of the testing teams following company guidelines, best practices and utilizing accepted tools.
Must have Knowledge manual testing concepts and software life cycle process. Will focus on Quality Assurance Testing Enterprise wide as well as SOA /Finance applications
Perform System Integration, Regression, and provide support for User Acceptance testing
Perform defect management
Utilize testing tools like HP ALM Quality Centre which speed up Test Planning ,Execution, Defect Management and Reporting
Utilize Web Service testing tools( J-meter/SOAP UI/HP Service Test) to support SOA testing efforts
Summarizes outcome of testing and review results with Test lead and Project team
Delivers the use of Traceability Matrix

Skills Required
7 years IT experience with Testing and Quality Assurance.
Financial domain knowledge
Demonstrated experience with HP Quality Center or similar QA suite.
Strong background in testing Financial applications especially projects related to Account Receivables
Demonstrated experience or knowledge of performing quality assurance for Web Services.
Prior experience with data access tools such as SQL or data profiling tools.
Experience in Testing Online Web Applications.
Experienced in Test data analysis and identification.

Quality Assurance certification – preferred

Prior technical experience with multiple platforms such as, HP NonStop (Tandem), IBM Mainframe, Web Methods is a plus.
Experience in PeopleSoft Financial applications is a plus
