Description:
Looking for a Analytics Quality Assurance Analyst/Engineer who will be a member of the technology team and will be responsible for testing and validating delivery and implementation of data analytics solutions to support world-class video streaming and entertainment solution.
Responsibilities:
- Perform quality control data mining, machine learning, and predictive modeling solutions in ad-hoc and production domains
- Work closely with analysts and developers to devise appropriate testing strategies
- Apply a flexible QA approach that allows for results at varying levels of precision
- Testing the extraction of patterns from a large datasets and transform data into an informational advantage
- Work closely with other members of the technology team to enable successful integration of the analytics solutions with the platform
- Ensure quality of predictive models deployed in production environment
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Technical competency with SAS programming and SQL
- Experience with SAS EG (Enterprise Guide) or EM (Enterprise Miner) is helpful
- Familiar with black-box and white-box testing approaches
- Experience with data analysis
- Comfort manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources
- Excellent communication skills and ability to understand statistical concepts
- Experience contributing to a growing, high paced organization
- Experience working with geographically distributed development teams
- Experience working as part of Agile/Scrum team
