Description:
The Systems Engineer II - will participate as an active member of the Microsoft Platform Services team with a primary responsibility of providing solution engineering, integration activities and operational support.
Responsibilities:
Performs system administration and functions as a subject matter expert for Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager (FIM) 2010 which will include configuration changes, join and projection resolution, Management Agent (MA) creation, monitoring and performance tuning. Understands current identity management processes and identify opportunities to automate additional functions within the company. Work with members of the project teams to design and integrate applications with the enterprise Identity and Access Management tools including Microsoft ForeFront Identity Manager (FIM).
Design, develop, and implement solutions to resolve highly complex technical and business issues related to User Provisioning and Role-Based Access Control. Participate in rotating on-call support, responsible for resolution of service outages and other service problems during the on-call period. On call may occur during standard or non-standard business hours. Work some weekends for the purpose of production releases. Implements changes to current identity management processes by leveraging the FIM workflow and policy engine.
Required Skills:
Development skills including C# programming related to FIM a plus, Windows Workflow Foundation, Power Shell, SQL programming, understanding of Web Services standards and VBScript, PowerShell, VB.Net, C#, ASP.Net, Javascript, HTML, SOAP, XML, Web Services, ADFS, Windows Server 2008 R2; LDAP, Kerberos . Knowledge and experience with server hardware and virtual server environments
Ability to translate technical, security and functional requirements into architecture solutions and designs. Capacity to quickly analyze technical problems and resolve issues. Experience designing or deploying ILM or FIM implementations
