Must Haves:

-       Core java development (4+ years experience)

-       J2EE technologies

-       JQuery / JS

-       HTML, CSS

-       Experience must be about 60% client side and 40% server side

Plus:

-       Oracle database experience

-       Financial services

 

Our client is looking for two consultants to help enhance, upgrade and re-write highly visible, internal client applications. They will be responsible for taking requirements and understand what the business is looking for, be able to communicate with the application development team regarding enhancements or bugs, etc.  Comfortable to working in an agile environment with the Portfolio Construction team and must be able to produce code in a fast pace environment for portfolio management and trading software.  The Portfolio Management application that they are supporting is the largest and oldest internal applications in the company.  It is constantly in needs on enhancements, upgrades and bug fixes.  Over the next year or so the development team is re-writing the client from swing to HTML which is why this consultant needs to be well versed on the client side technology and be able to bring that expertise to the team.  One of these consultants will have the opportunity to move from the portfolio construction team to the mobile development team after ramping up.
