Position Description:
Provide architecture, planning and design for client's Global Data Network Infrastructure. Perform or direct complex implementation tasks. Perform technology assessment and recommend product and supplier selection. Perform requirement analysis and develop advanced telecommunications hardware/software solutions to meet the business requirements. Coordinate and review projects to ensure compliance with the global architecture and best practice. May prepare and maintain operating procedures and associated documentation. Coach/mentor junior engineers and serve as a senior technical resource to direct and resolve complex and critical Network Infrastructure problems.
Principal duties and responsibilities:
•Stay abreast of current technologies, serve as technology consultant, and make recommendations based on knowledge and research.
•Interfaces with global carriers to assess new technologies and develop and implement data solutions.
•Works on unusually complex problems and provides solutions which are highly innovative.
•Contribute to process improvements, identify inefficiencies and develop policies and procedures.
•Collaborate with other engineering groups, readily share information with others, actively seeks customer input, may take responsibility for complex customer situations.
•Responsible for establishing project plans, budgets, schedules, and documentation of work results.
•Plan and architect Client's complex global data network infrastructure.
