Job Title:
Business Analyst

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Location: Bridgewater , NJ

Client: Sanofi

 Need Business Analyst with strong finance domain. 5 – 7 Years:  Experience in Finance/Purchasing, working with P2P areas

 

Duties: This is key role contributing to the overall success of the New procurement solution project  through effective project leadership of initiatives and integration activities. In addition, this position will manage the project's portfolio, design change management programs, measure performance, and monitor interdependent project streams.

 

Key role in assessing level of integration and requirements of various business entities on behalf of the Project. Leads effort to establish day 1 control environment and interface with departmental functions to design integration plans.

Support overall coordination and oversight to support new eProcurement Project Leader

Assist in defining project timelines and milestones with each workstream leader, provide advice to support development of project work plans, provide routine project status updates, assist in the identification and management of project issues.  Identifies integration points between projects and offers advice to harmonize efforts where applicable

Manages process for resource tracking and capacity planning and provides leadership with assessment and risks to effectively prioritize projects; Integrates team's project portfolio with IS project portfolio and arbitrate resource conflicts

Guides and assists project teams in the development of work plans and updates to Senior Leaders. Drives quality control for key project deliverables.  Conduct weekly status meeting with work stream leads and key stakeholders

Prepare presentations required to support weekly Group PMO meetings.

Prepare for and facilitate all Core Team, Process Lead meetings and calls, including Global Project Core Team, U.S. and Europe entities.

Coordinates Finance, Procurement, Legal and Procurement Operations departments' readiness streams in the harmonization and simplification of spend related processes in alignment with SaaS solution using lean methodologies.

Align support functions requirements into the eProcurement system Master data project plan (i.e. approval thresholds, levels, users, etc.) and coordinate for Master data implementation accordingly.

Develops reports and presentations as needed for leadership team

Build/develop relationships within North America and Global teams.

Responsible for various training strategies, content development, training of functional trainers, and execution of training.

Manage special projects as needed.

Create and update policies and procedures as required

 

Skills: Strong understanding of financial and procure to pay processes and controls

Skillful in supporting cross-functional cooperation and building strong working relationships between key internal and external stakeholders

Solid project management experience, able to work and lead cross functional teams

Establishes priorities and timelines to effectively manage workload. Able to multi-task exceptionally well.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure with little supervision, deliver high level of customer service and proven track record of following through with assignments meeting strict deadlines

Capability to work in a regional organization with multiple clients, dealing as well with corporate/global. Skilled at working effectively and professionally with all entities of North America.

Identifies issues or concerns and works with others to determine an effective course of action. High degree of independent problem solving and decision making skills.

Excellent written and oral communication skills, team work, and system knowledge.

Strong technical skills and proficient in working with excel models and creating powerpoint presentations and dashboards.

Logical reasoning, analytical and problem solving skills/methodology

Strong interpersonal skills

Excellent understanding of Procure to Pay process including financial, accounts payables and procurement process and systems (SAP, SaaS solutions)

In dept knowledge and understanding of project, contract, and PO lifecycle management of spending

Solves and works independently and with team to solve complex problems

Demonstrated leadership, coaching, teaching, networking and managing performance abilities

Capability to work in a regional organization with multiple clients with varying process requirements.  Skilled at working effectively and professionally with all entities of North America.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Must a be a self-starter - have a high degree of personal initiative

Flexible disposition, effectively demonstrates competencies

 

Education: 5 – 7 Years:  Experience in Finance/Purchasing, working with P2P areas such as Procurement, Accounts Payable, etc. Project and portfolio management, knowledge of internal controls, audit experience a plus.  Undergraduate Degree – Business Administration/Finance required.  MBA a plus.
