Develop and execute software test plans in order to identify software problems and their causes. This position will be responsible for testing of RESTful Webservices against service requirements derived from business and functional requirements. The candidate should have some level of experience with HTTP protocols, XML, WADL/WSDL, and schema validation.
Education/Experience
o Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering or relevant field required

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
o Review Business, Functional and Service Requirements, Placement of Function and API designs and provide feedback
o Design test plans, scenarios, scripts and procedures focused on positive and negative scenarios
o Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers
o Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, or content
o Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes
o Create or maintain databases of known test defects
o Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
o Communicate status and escalate risks as necessary
