This is a 3-6 Months Contract extendible Position based in Houston, TX.

| Role | JDE Technology Consultant |
| Job Responsibilities | Lead project plan preparation, effort estimation and resource planning activities Provide best fit architectural solutions and technology consultation Define the scope and sizing of work, create technology differentiation Manage Team dynamics, Customer Interactions & Communications Provided technical consultation to Presales, Lead the proposal preparation, response for RFP and other presales activities Conduct client meetings to understand the problem statement and articulate to internal stake holders. Arrive at possible solution alternatives that have technical feasibility and efficiency. Create and review Architectural decision, architecture solution, perform re-engineering of Architecture to create solution blueprint to meet client requirements Schedule, monitor, review and control all the project phases in their entirety Awareness of the business and technology industry trends and able to provide thought leadership based on Strong JDE E1 product knowledge |
| Technical skills required | Managed full cycle JDE implementation projects / production support and upgrade projects Experience utilizing JDE technical tools in various development activities. Experience utilizing JDE CNC tools for monitoring, implementation, installation and upgrade activities Good working knowledge of various supported databases (SQL,DB2 and Oracle) and supported platform like Linux, intel, unix and i-series. Good knowledge of JDE Data migration strategy Good knowledge of advance JDE concepts (Business Services, PIP) Sound knowledge of interoperability Should have good working knowledge across releases like Xe,ERP8, 8.11SP1, 8.12, E9.0 and 9.1. Working knowledge of package build, deployment, CNC troubleshooting, ESU and ASU installation, configuration management and other CNC tasks. |
| Behavioral skills required | Strong communication and inter-personal skills The Technology Architect role requires the ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing Strong leadership, facilitation, negotiation, mentoring, and personnel management skills |
| Typical level of experience | 8+ years of experience Having done at least 3 end-to-end JDE implementations |
