Position:    Network Security Administrator
Location:   Los Angeles, CA
Duration:   12+ Month

Required:-

 

Firewalls, Cisco, Checkpoint, Juniper, Network Security, troubleshooting, DMZ, IPS, IDS, Load Balancers, Reverse Proxy, Content Filtering, NAT, ACL, Site-to-site VPN, Remote access VPN, Logs, Backup, Blue Coat, RSA, Vulnerability Assessment, SSL

Installation, configuration & administration of Cisco, Checkpoint and Juniper Firewalls

Administration of load balancers, content filtering and reverse proxy

Troubleshooting network security issues and perform Incident determination, alert identification and correlation, and Resolution for in-scope environments on a 24x7x365 basis

Ensure hardening of all the network devices in scope

Perform Firewall Management, DMZ and Internet Infrastructure Services in accordance with architecture and security designs

Manage and support Security Intrusion Prevention and Detection Services

Support DMZ and Internet infrastructure – infrastructure that supports Internet access to  public-facing and internal web applications, including proxies, load balancers, security appliances, tools and content filters

Manage and perform firmware/Software upgrades and patches for the network Hardware

 

Role and Responsibilities :-

 

Design, implement and maintain reliable, scalable and secure high-speed network infrastructure

Perform Incident determination, alert identification and correlation, and Resolution for in-scope environments on a 24x7x365 basis

Manage Cisco, Checkpoint and Juniper security products which include Firewalls; Multi-factor authentication hardware and Software (e.g., tokens), Intrusion prevention and detection devices, Network access control tools, Encryption hardware and Software, Security certificates, SSLs and Physical and logical access control systems and methods

Develop and maintain Network documentation that meets customer requirements

Implement and maintain security services and technical solutions that protect data logically and physically

Perform security logs review, network security assessment audit and support for audit activitiesMaintain all documentation required for network security assessments, audits and internal control and control testing

Monitoring the performance levels of the firewall/DMZ/Internet infrastructure

Coordinate and perform annual health check, performance and penetration testing

Recommend best practice security services and procedures
