Location: Foster City or San Francisco, California

Job Title: QA Engineer

Duration: 06 Months Contract

 

Job Description:

·         5+ years of experience in development and/or QA automation

·         3+ years of strong technical competency and experience with web applications and web services

·         Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Quality Assurance processes and methodologies

·         Must have strong Browser Testing Experience

·         Strong knowledge of Device and breakpoint testing for responsive

·         Need to have ability to translate design specs to browser behavior

·         Need to understand browser caching

·         Experience in Usability Testing

·         Experience in Accessibility Testing

·         Must have experience with automation tools like Junit, TestNG, Rake, Rspec, Cucumber, Selenium RC/WebDriver

·         Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, distributed systems, web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, Python)

·         Experience with using Firebug or Fiddler for testing

·         Ability to write and execute SQL queries to validate data

·         Knowledge of iOS/Android development, Javascript, HTML5

·         Experience with mobile devices such as Mobile Complete’s Device Anywhere, Perfecto Mobile, or Android’s Robotium

·         Experience utilizing Xcode, iPhone SDK, or Android SDK/E

·         Experience in testing end-user interfaces on various platforms such Windows 7, MAC OS for different browser types

·         Experience with Tools like Rally, Jira, Sharepoint, Wiki etc

·         Solid understanding of relational databases RDBMS and scripting of a complex SQL queries

·         Strong problem solving skills

·         Excellent verbal , written and listening communication skills with an ability to influence and develop relationships with key partners

·         Experience in working in a cross functional organization with multiple stakeholders

·         Proven ability to work in a team environment

·         BS in computer science, computer engineering or relevant technical discipline required

 

Required Skills:

·         Ruby on Rail or Web Service automation with SOA Test
