Title: Automated Tester – QA

Location: Chicago, IL

Description

We are seeking an automated test analyst with great communication skills who is passionate about test automation.  The candidate must have the ability to produce high quality automated test scripts using Selenium with Visual Basic.

 

Responsibilities 

•             Maintain current automation framework and lead development of new automation scripts in VB.NET using Selenium WebDriver

•             Create and maintain QA documentation to describe automation suite

•             Accurately track and report on QA result metrics

•             Working collaboratively with QA and Development teams during all stages of projects to provide in-process testing results

 

Desired Skills & Experience Requirements

•             Experience with automated testing tools – Selenium

•             Experience with VB.net, VB Script or VB

•             Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills

•             Experience testing web based applications

•             Strong understanding of SDLC, Waterfall and Agile methodologies

•             Advanced SQL skills to be able to read and build complex queries

•             Ability to work independently and/or collaboratively

•             Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision making capabilities

•             Experience with RSTAR and DSTAR is a nice to have

•             Experience with HP Quality Center – QTP is a plus
