Location: Tallahassee, FL
Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extension.
Onsite: On location at the Client's site 100% of the time. No telecommuting or remote work.
Additional Information: Successful completion bonus available.
Description: Our Client, a government agency, is looking to hire a SAP ABAP Developer in Tallahassee, FL.
Responsibilities:
• Provide ABAP programming and participate in code reviews;
• Conduct reviews of functional and develop technical specifications;
• Meet with functional to explain program functionality and mentor less experienced ABAP programmers;
• Generate OSS notes requesting assistance from SAP headquarters;
• Research SAP documentation for fixes to report problems;
• Provide status reporting of assignments;
• Conduct system functionality review based on current code and/or technical specifications.
Requirements:
• Experience in programming ABAP/4 - FI/CA, MD, SD modules (5+ years);
• Experience with SAP versions 4.6 or higher (5+ years);
• Experience with SAP conversion implementations (minimum 2 projects);
• Experience with SAP R/3, CRM, BW and/or E-Portals;
• Experience with mapping business processes to technology;
• Experience with SAP Business Process Platform;
• Experience with SAP Business Partner, Financials (GL and AR/AP);
• Experience with SAP and Java stacks of the SAP Web Applications Server (SAP WAS);
• Experience with IS-PS-CD (preferred);
• Experience with background (batch) programming (preferred);
• Experience with dialog (screen) programming (preferred);
• Experience with ABAP object (preferred);
• Experience with Smartforms, Print Workbench and SAP script (preferred);
• Experience with tax applications systems (preferred).
