Job Description:

ASP.NET Web UI Developer

 

Functions:

• Design complex web pages with a high number of updates to a single page and present data in tables, graphs or charts
• Analyze, program, debug, and modify software for user interface and business middleware
• Work with Business Analyst and Quality Assurance to ensure the application performs as designed
• Leverage agile software development principles and methodologies including participation in scrum meetings, sprint planning, and product backlog estimations
• Write and execute unit tests for all interactions with the application server
• Responsible for technical quality of the solution and provide input towards process improvement

 

Technical Skills:

• 5 or more years building ASP.NET Web Applications with a background in business portals/dashboards and proficient in CSS/JavaScript. 
• Candidate must be able to work independently.

• Ability to design highly effective and attractive user interfaces
• Experience with HTML, JavaScript, JSON, SQL, CSS and XML
• Experience with ASP.NET (C#) and MVC/Razor
• Experience with 3^rd party libraries such as ComponentOne, WIJMO and Bootstrap a plus
• Mobile app and WAP experience a plus

 

 

Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently with moderate supervision
• Ability to effectively communicate with peers, and supervisors, and to work cooperatively in a team environment
• Ability to work quickly and meet defined project deadlines
• Manage project tasks, timelines, and communication
• Proven communication, documentation and presentation skills
