Summary of Duties:
Art.com is looking for QA Engineer to assist QA team in testing critical project. He or she will support ongoing product development and implementation projects; will report to QA Manager and work closely with developers and product managers; will be required to perform manual tests using grey-box and black-box methods, and produce test documentation such as test plans, test cases, status report, bug reports, etc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Perform test execution, including functional (front-end and back-end), regression and integration tests
· Write manual test cases/matrixes/regression suites
· Create test plans and test strategies for small to medium projects
· Report issues and create status reports
· Work closely with Development team to isolate and resolve bugs/issues
· Support releases
· Support production tickets
· Participate in on-call rotation
Skills and Abilities Needed:
· Solid understanding of QA methodology and process
· Experience in component and end-to-end testing and experience in creating test plans for both
· Strong test case creation skill set
· Working knowledge of agile methodology is a plus
· Strong bug writing skills
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Ability to work effectively in a team environment
· Experience in functional testing, regression testing, GUI testing and defect management
· Understanding of software development life cycle
· Good understanding /working knowledge of SQL
· Excellent analysis skills and attention to details
Education and Experience:
· 3+ years software QA experience in an E-Comm
