Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will lead and guide the design and requirements implementation efforts of complex the Pega software products within a unified production environment.  You will utilize your skills with using PegaRULES Process Commander (PRPC) as well as proven Agile techniques and methodologies to produce world-class software. Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Support design phase activities by leveraging Pega Directly Capture Objectives (DCO) methodology
• Function as a senior business Architect by understanding business requirements and transforming those requirements into requirement artifacts.
• Translate the customer's business process and requirements and develop requirements artifacts such as a Business Requirement Documents and Functional Requirement Specifications
• Insure that software development best practices are followed, including updating the requirements traceability matrix, maintaining versions of deliverables using defined version control systems, etc.
• Design and configure rules and flows and assist with the draft UI and draft flow development.
• Create wireframes and other UI artifacts to assist in the development process
• Fully understand business needs and requirements
• Adhere to best practices in Pega development (architecture, design, and coding)

Education and Experience:

• Masters or Bachelor's degree required – Computer Science degree preferred
• At least 2-3 years' experience supporting a software/hardware development efforts
• At least 1 years' specific experience as a Pega BA.

Required Skills and Competencies:

The successful candidate will have experience in the following:

• Proven experience as a Pega BA
• Strong Object Oriented design and implementation skills
• Exceptional communication skills in English – both written and oral – and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical IT stakeholders
• Comfortable in Agile Development Methodology, especially Scrum
• Ability to work in a team environment under the direction of a technical lead
• Ability to clearly document design requirements and other project-related technical documentation

Desired Skills:

• Pega certification CLBA highly desired
• Experience working government environment desired
• Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
• Software development experience using such languages as C# or Java for back-end and javascript for front-end
