Senior Business Intelligence Developer/Analyst for a right to hire assignment with one of our premier financial clients in Wilmington, DE.
Responsibilities:
- Designs, analyzes, develops, codes, tests, debugs and documents programming to satisfy business requirements. Proficient in application development for a specific technology.
- This position should typically be used for a mid-level, more seasoned, fully proficient resource.
- Senior Business Intelligence developer/analyst will be responsible for designing and developing reports & analytics for the delivery of business intelligence(BI) solutions for operational and analytical reporting for Card Services.
- Primary responsibilities will include design and development of framework management models, dashboards, Visualizations, Cubes and reports utilizing Cognos 10 BI suite.
- Individual will assist with analysis of reports and determining best fit within existing systems.
- Individual should be able to understand/recommend the end to end solution including the architecture aspects.
Required Skills:
- Five plus years of experience in Design and Development using Cognos BI Suite
- Proficient with Design and Development of Dashboards, Visualizations, Cubes and Reports using Cognos 10 BI Suite
- Experience in Designing and Creating complex framework manager models
- Performance Tuning, Distribution Management and Scheduling Experience
- 5 plus years of experience with Relational databases specifically Teradata, Oracle and SQL Server
- Experience in Unix, shell scripting and PL/SQL
- Pro
Preferred Skills:
- Experience creating WEBI reports, Universes and Dashboards using Business Objects XI 3.1/4.1 would be a plus
