Job Title: Java UI Developer
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Duration: 6+ Months

Required Skills:
5-7+ years experience as an expert software and web developer - detailed knowledge in the state-of-the art in software construction.  Expert in server-side development with a strong emphasis on lean software
5-7 years experience in Java server-side development
5-7 years development in a database centric environment, Oracle preferred, including the use of Hibernate, iBatis, and/or Spring JDBC templates.
Detailed knowledge of design patterns and the proper use of frameworks (such as dependency-injection, MVC, etc.)
Knowledge of major open source frameworks (Spring)
Strong Knowledge of data modeling (ERD, OOA/OOD)
Strong knowledge of RESTful Web Services
Experience and sound knowledge in various data interchange and representation formats such as JSON, XML
Proven ability to design and development intuitive web UIs utilizing the latest technologies (HTML 5, CSS 3)
Proven record as contributor in large scale systems architecture and development
Experience with service provider scale distributed systems in Web 2.0 architectures
Experience with established software development methodologies, including Agile (SCRUM, XP, etc.)
Hands on experience on Test Driven Development (TDD)
Experience with building web sites with Liferay portal desired
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
