Position: BizTalk Developer

Location: New York 10017

Duration: 6+ Months

Interview: Phone and In-Person Interview

Total 8 years of IT and 4 years Biztalk experience is required for this position.

 

Job Description

BizTalk Developer is responsible for developing Data Integration Solutions for Enterprise Applications.

 

The position should focus its effort on

·         Leveraging the Enterprise Applications Integration technologies to provide cost-effective data integration solutions, that are sustainable in the long term and SOX compliant.

·         The implementation of end to end data integration solutions as designed in conjunction with the Data Integration Services Development Lead

·         Work with other team members on BizTalk architecture design and development.

·         Share the knowledge and experience with other team members to help the overall integration effort

 

Challenges faced:

·         Significant number of simultaneous projects

·         Large number of data sources and data formats

·         Fast paced environment

·         Heterogeneous and distributed systems landscape

 

Required Skills:

·         This position requires Bachelors degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent field with over 4 years of related experience in Biztalk. Masters degree is desirable.

·         Knowledge and experience in design and development of data integration solutions using a formal SDLC methodology

·         Experience in Microsoft Biztalk Server 2009

·         Experience in C#, .NET, XML, XSLT, WebServices, WCF, TFS, Sharepoint, SQL Server, Oracle

·         Integration experience with SAP and Peoplesoft

·         BizTalk experience working with WCF adapters

·         Experience with BizTalk Administration

·         Experience with .NET  Framework Data Provider for mySAP Business Suite

·         SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

·         Object-Oriented Design principles and design patterns

·         Communications

·         Interpersonal skills

·         Flexibility,  diplomacy and problem-solving

·         Debugging and troubleshooting skills

·         On-site Off-shore coordination
