MOBILE APPS ENGINEER IOS
Our Client looking for knowledgeable and experienced mobile application developers. We are currently building out our technology in PhoneGap, but will be moving toward native applications in the near future. Candidates should know how to develop in PhoneGap, but also possess deep knowledge in iOS development.
Candidate will lead feature/experience and work on all aspects of system design. Provide technical guidance to development engineers etc. in terms of functionality, API and technical suggestions on feature/code development. Candidate should be innovative and take abstract concepts/vague requirements and technically lead them to realization.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY/EXPECTATION
· Develop and maintain iOS application(s) with focus on iPhone(s).
· Responsible for creating a clean architecture that is up to both company and AppStore standards
· Understand and interface with backend webservice APIs
· Design and build with security in mind
· SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
· Solid to expert knowledge in iOS and xCode
· Solid knowledge in Objective-C and Object Orient programming patterns in Obj-C
· Know the limitations of build once run anywhere technologies and craft alternative solutions to handle problems
· Experience dealing with web service backends and knowledge of how to use local / storage / CoreData to increase application responsiveness
· Experience or deep knowledge with native javascript engines and web viewports
· Experienced with APN and processing notifications
· Have developed and shipped applications written in Objective C
