Technical Project Manager (9+ years)
Duration : 1 + year
Locations: Bethpage, NY

Must be local to NY

Interview: Inperson after a phone/skype interview

Additional Details:

Candidates must live in Long Island or close to it and be able to commute (no public transportation is available in this area). If candidates do not live in Long Island or close by area must be able to relocate for length of contract (NJ is a far commute due to traffic).

Must be a Technical Project Manager - No Infrastructure PMs please.

Ideally a background with Java/J2EE and PMP certifications.

Must have:

• Managing Application Development projects in J2EE environment
• Hands-on development experience
• Solid understanding of all phases of SDLC and Waterfall methodology
• Telecommunications/Cable experience is considered
• PMP Certification
• Create and maintain project develop project plans, estimate time requirements, establish deadlines, monitoring milestone completion, tracking all phases of the project product
• Provide timely reporting of issues that impact project progress, coordinate actions, and resolve conflicts.
• Conduct meetings effectively that includes defining agenda, maintaining meeting focus groups and follow-up
• Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
• Excellent communication skills and strong MS Office
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent
