Job Title: Hadoop System Admin (Operation and Infrastructure)
Location: Atlanta, GA or Dallas, TX
Duration: 4 month+
Job Description:
Responsibilities include:
• Managing Linux and Hadoop clusters
• Deploying Hadoop using Savanna on OpenStack infrastructure
• Optimizing Hadoop configurations
• Defining operational processes and monitoring and maintenance procedures
• Participating in hands-on management of the production systems
• Experience working with Hadoop Ecosystem (Hive, Pig, Oozie)
• Maintaining and growing knowledge of scripting languages and cluster configuration and monitoring tools (Ruby, Puppet, Nagios, Graphite or similar)
Bachelor's degree (Computer Science or related preferred) and at least 10 years of Linux systems experience.
