JOB DESCRIPTION:
Resource will perform all work onsite at the IBM HIGLAS HOC Linthicum, MD location. Resource will work in a team environment, be willing to work a rotational/on-call schedule, work overtime, evenings and weekends when necessary. A rescheduled work week should also be considered.
Oracle OBIEE ETL Subject Matter Expert to implement OBIEE 11.1.1.7.1 with ODI as the ETL tool. Resource will be required to create ODI ETL mappings to replace Informatica ETL mappings, assist with testing, implementation and documentation of the entire OBIEE upgrade. OBIEE Architecture and/or report development experience is desired.
Responsibilities (refer to Statement of Work) in order of importance:
Job Duty 1 & 10 %: Implement the upgrade to OBIEE 11.1.1.7.1 with ODI 11.1.1.7.0
Job Duty 2 & 50 %: Remediate gaps and rebuild Custom ETLs using ODI
Job Duty 3 & 10 %: Assisting with merging RPD (custom Metadata) and Webcat (Custom Reports and Dashboards)
Job Duty 4 & 30 %: Executing and tuning full load and incremental loads for AR, GL, FV, CE modules (source is 33 TB)
Basic Skill 1 & Yrs Exp: Experience in OBIEE ETL (Informatica or ODI) – 5 years
Basic Skill 2 & Yrs Exp: Experience with ODI as the ETL tool – 2 years
Basic Skill 3 & Yrs Exp: 3+ years of hands on experience with OBIEE, BI Apps, DAC and Informatica
Basic Skill 4 & Yrs Exp: At least one implementation experience of BI Apps with Oracle Financials R12.2.x
Basic Skill 5 & Yrs Exp: 3+ years of troubleshooting and fine tuning ETL Loads
Preferred Skill 1 & Yrs Exp: At least one implementation experience of BI Apps with Oracle Receivables, Payables or General Ledger modules within Oracle eBusiness Suite R12.2.x
Preferred Skill 2 & Yrs Exp: Functional knowledge of Oracle Financials modules R12.2.x is a big plus.
Preferred Skill 3 & Yrs Exp: Technical knowledge of the data structure changes in EBusiness R12.2.x to support the ETL process
Preferred Skill 4 & Yrs Exp: Strong database concepts at the data dictionary and object level
