Familiarity with protocols used to move financial information. ISO-8583 is a big plus.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a scripting language, Python is a huge plus.
- Some understanding of the following: JSON, XML, HTTP/HTTPS, URL Encoding techniques, MySQL/PostgreSQL
- Ability to work with remote teammates via Skype/E-Mail, etc.
- Very strong ability to organize test data, understand testing results, and report meaningful findings to engineering or the data architects.
- Experience with card scheme certification processes is also a huge plus.
- Be able to comprehend test specifications in high detail.
