Job Title: Business Analyst / Systems Analyst (Healthcare)
Duration: 6 month plus

Summary
The Systems Analyst will Work in a large multi-facility health system supporting ICD-10 initiatives. Identifies and analyzes the business needs of stakeholders to understand their strengths / weaknesses and determine opportunities to automate processes and functions
Accountabilities
Investigates and analyzes effective solutions to Business Partner requests. May need to negotiate options
Documents/maps results of interviews for multiple concurrent Projects and translates them into written Business Requirements used by the IS Project Lead to develop into a more technical solution. Ensures General System Design meets or exceeds Business Requirements
Supports Requirements unit testing, acceptance test strategies, and procedures to support application deployment and ongoing operations
Identifies and communicates business needs and issues to technical team members during User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Understands business and system processes
Criteria
Gather and document Business Requirements.
Ensure the Business Requirements are complete and accurate.
Ensure that the General System Design meets the business needs, and that complete system and user test plans are created and executed.
Requires independent action and ability to work with little supervision.
Excellent communication skills and knowledge of existing systems.
Knowledge of HIPAA and X12 transaction mapping standards
Knowledge of HIPAA and X12 transaction mapping standards
Strong experience with Drop Files and file management
